Bruno Metsu - Southampton boss?
Bruno Metsu is being targeted, according to some in agent and footballing circles, as the next Southampton manager.
Apparently ex-academy coach Georges Prost recommended him to the Southampton board, and Saints' are giving him serious consideration as a possible replacement for George Burley.
For those of you who don't know who Metsu is, he managed Senegal in World Cup 2002.

Newcastles future stars
I am a good friend of one of newcastle head coaching staff (unfortunately i cant say) and he tells me Shearer will be assistant manager within the next 24 hours. Phillip Albert, Steve Howey, Warren Barton and Robert Lee will all be joining Kevs back room staff in a big to bring back "The Entertainers". He will replace 20% of his coaching staff with these coaches.
Newcastle are in talks with the following:
Dimitar Berbatov (Spurs) (?13m)
Mohammed Zidan (26, Egyptian talent) (Hamburg) (7m)
Balazs Dzsudzsak (4m) (Huge Talent from Hungary, currantly pays for PSV)
Fernando Menegazzo (6m) (Brazilian internatial, plays for Bordeaux)
Barry Robson (1.5m) (Scottish International from Dundee Utd
Michael Thwaite (2m) (24 year old Australian defender from Wisła Krakow)
So far Kev has only been in talks with these players!
It is not certain that these players will be signed in this January transfer window but THERE IS NO DOUBT they will be at Newcastle by the start of next season.

UEFA gives the boot to small countries
Despite numerous pleads from UEFA to try and bring the champions league final to smaller contries it now seems they are taking a new tactic.
UEFA officials have announced that the minimum seating capacity is to be increased dramatically meaning that only a very small number of stadiums will be eligible to bid for the finals. Among the stadiums that will miss out is Hampden Stadium, home to Queen of the South which held a very successful final last year.
